Hi, I’m Ana. I teach IB English (SL/HL) and spend a lot of time on Paper 1 commentary, text-type choices, and the HL essay. I studied Literature at UNAM and later worked in a bilingual school, so I’m used to students juggling Spanish and English. Bring a rough draft, an extract you hate, or a list of quotes, and we’ll turn it into a plan you can write under timed conditions. I keep feedback blunt but useful.

I’m Diego, an IB Maths tutor (AA SL/HL). I did Applied Maths at Tec de Monterrey and now tutor alongside my engineering job. Most sessions are problem-driven: past papers, calculator shortcuts, and writing solutions that earn method marks. I’m happy to review Maths IA explorations too, especially modelling, regression, and ‘does this actually answer the question?’ checks before you submit. Sessions can be weekly or intensive before exams.

I’ve taught IB Biology for 9 years, mainly HL, with students in bilingual schools and online. I’m a biologist by training (UAM) and I’ve worked in a public health lab, so genetics, immunity, and interpreting messy data are my comfort zone. We’ll map out what to memorise vs understand, practise data-based questions, and polish IAs with a realistic method, variables, and evaluation that fits the rubric.

I’m a Physics tutor for IB (SL/HL). I graduated from IPN in Physics and have been tutoring for about 6 years, mostly online with shared whiteboards and plenty of past-paper practice. If you’re stuck on waves, fields, circuits, or options, we’ll go step by step with diagrams and units checks. I also do short IA check-ins for experimental design, graphing, and error analysis so you don’t lose easy marks.

Chemistry is my day job and my favourite thing to tutor. I teach IB Chemistry (SL/HL) and help with stoichiometry, energetics, equilibrium, and organic mechanisms without turning it into a lecture. I studied Chemical Engineering at UNAM and spent a few years in industry before tutoring. For IAs, I’m picky about uncertainties, significant figures, and whether your conclusion matches your raw data—not your hopes.

I tutor IB Economics (SL/HL) and I’m a bit obsessed with diagrams and evaluation. I studied Economics at ITAM and worked in research before tutoring full-time. We’ll practise Paper 1/2 timing, choose real-world examples that actually fit the chain of reasoning, and tighten your IA commentaries so they hit the criteria (not just describe the article). Hi! I’m Sofía and I teach IB Psychology (SL/HL). My degree is in Psychology from Universidad Iberoamericana, and I’ve helped students who feel buried under studies and keywords. We’ll build ERQs and SAQs with clean structure, pick a small set of studies you can recall properly, and practise evaluation that goes beyond ‘small sample’. I’m also happy to brainstorm IA experiments and help write up the ethics and procedure sections.

I’m Mariana, and I tutor IB Business Management (SL/HL). I studied Business Administration at Anáhuac University and have managed small teams in retail and a startup, which makes the case studies feel less abstract. I help students structure Paper 1/2 answers, pick the right tools for the prompt, and write evaluation that’s specific to the business. For the IA, I’ll sanity-check your research question, data sources, and word count early.

I teach IB Geography (SL/HL) and I’m the person who genuinely enjoys fieldwork write-ups. I studied Geography at Universidad de Guadalajara and have worked on GIS projects, so maps, scale, and data presentation don’t scare me. We’ll tackle Paper 1 essays, optional themes, and the IA: tightening the question, sampling methods, producing solid graphs/maps, and linking results back to theory without copying the textbook wording.
